Dealership Assist was created to help used car dealers and dealerships get more out of their Internet marketing efforts by offering effective, yet inexpensive, web sites and web solutions.

Inexpensive does not mean a lack of features or capabilities, quite the contrary.  Our web sites are some of the most feature laden web sites on the market today.

The challenge is being aware of all the features and capabilities available to you as a Dealership Assist user.    This website was designed to help you get the most out of your dealership website.  We continually update and enhance our website offering and we have found it difficult to convey all the new features to you, our clients.  Many of these added features are designed to attract and hold a shoppers attention and you need to know about  them.

I don't like to repeat myself but a good narrative comment is important, because it can gain shopper interest.
Good quality pictures, and plenty of them, is critical to selling vehicles on the Internet.  Here are a few things to remember.
1. Never crop a picture, bad things happen.
2. Fill up the frame with the vehicle.  The vehicle should almost touch the side edges.
3. Always take Landscape photos, wider than tall.
4. Take pictures of 1 MegaPixel or less.  More megapixels buys you nothing.
5. White cars can come out a little gray, so underexpose for White cars.
6. Black cars can come out a dark gray, so overexpose for Black cars.
7. Red cars will "pop" a little more if overexposed.
7. Sunny days are not always your friend when taking pictures.  It can leave harsh shadows or will fool the camera and the picture will come out very dark.  A slight overcast is often best when taking pictures.
8. Using Fill Flash can be beneficial to both inside and outside shots.
9. Consider the background when taking pictures.  You can't always control it, but it can distracting to the viewer.

You don't have to be a professional photographer to take good photos, but the more you understand the better your pictures will be and the better your pictures the more interest you will generate.
Multiple Vehicle Categories
Vehicle type searches are popular, but you must use them to your advantage.

Today sometimes it is hard to put a vehicle in just one category.  Is the Ridgeview a truck or SUV?

Our system let's you select multiple categories for a single vehicle.  In the Ridgeline example, it can be in both the truck and SUV categories.

This helps the shopper consider vehicles that they might not have considered otherwise.
Extended Search Options
Did you know you can customize your Extended Search Options?
The most popular search options are: sunroof, leather seats, gas saver, maual transmission, 4WD, among others.
